Police have launched a murder investigation following a stabbing in Barnet last night (18 June).

Police say that they were called at around 22:50hrs on Tuesday, 18 June following reports of a fight in Welbeck Road, Barnet.

Police officers and London Ambulance Service (LAS) attended and found three men suffering stab injuries at the scene.

One man, aged in his 30s, was taken to hospital and was pronounced dead shortly after midnight.

The two other men, one aged in his 20s and one aged in his 30s, have been taken to hospital for treatment with non-life-threatening injuries it has been revealed.

A crime scene remains in place. No arrests have been made as yet and enquiries continue at this stage.
