Police are currently investigating the death of a child and are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dash cam footage to come forward following a car accident yesterday (May 22)

Police were first called to the scene by the London Ambulance Service at 19:04hrs to the accident that happened on East End Road N2. Officers attended, along with London Ambulance and London’s Air Ambulance services.

Sadly, at the scene a three year old boy had been in a collision with a Toyota Rav4. The injured child was then taken to a north London hospital by LAS where he was sadly pronounced dead. Next of kind was informed. The driver of the car involved did stop at the scene and has not been arrested.

Enquiries are currently underway to determine the circumstances surrounding the collision, Police are appealing for anyone who has dashcam footage or who witnessed the incident first hand to come forward to help.
