Police have appealed for witnesses to come forward after a stabbing in Muswell Hill. 

A man has been left in a critical condition following a stabbing. Police were called to Fortis Green Road, N10 at 01:40hrs on Thursday, 30 October to a report of a stabbing.

The victim was taken to hospital by the London Ambulance Service where he remains in a life-threatening condition.

A 22-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of GBH and is currently in custody.

Detective Inspector Paul Ridley from North Area CID is leading the investigation: “This young victim remains in hospital in a critical condition fighting for his life. It is absolutely vital that any witnesses that saw the altercation come forward to my investigation team as a priority. There are a number of flats which overlook the location of the stabbing and I am convinced that people will be aware as to what has occurred. Additionally if you are in possession of any CCTV or dashcam footage I also need this presented to me.”
